Chocolate Malted French Toast
Ingredients
- 1 Egg
- 60ml Milk
- 4 pcs Gardenia Thick Toast Brioche Loaf
- ½ tbsp Butter
- 2 sachets of Gardenia Chocolate Malt Drink
- Vanilla Ice Cream (optional)
- Cookie Crumbs (optional)
Method
Batter Preparation
- Crack 2 eggs into a bowl.
- Add 60ml milk and 1 sachet of Gardenia Chocolate Malt Drink.
- Whisk until well combined and set aside.
Cooking
- Heat a pan over medium heat.
- Once hot, coat the pan with ½ tbsp butter.
- Dip 4 slices of Gardenia Thick Toast Brioche Loaf into the batter, ensuring both sides are soaked.
- Place the bread in the pan and cook until golden brown on both sides.
Plating
- Stack the toasts on a plate and drizzle with maple syrup.
- Optional: Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a sprinkle of cookie crumbs for added indulgence.
