Chocolate Malt Matcha Chocolate Cloud

Ingredients

Matcha Latte

  • 1 ½ tsp Matcha 
  • 60ml hot water
  • 150ml milk, warmed up
  • 2 tsp simple syrup

 

Chocolate Cloud

  • 6 tbsp heavy cream
  • 2 sachet of Gardenia Chocolate Malt Drink 
  • 1 tbsp simple syrup

Method

  1. In a bowl or small pitcher, sift and whisk 1 ½ tsp matcha powder with 60ml hot water until fully dissolved and frothy.
  2. Add 2 tsp simple syrup and 150ml warm milk. Mix well and pour into a glass or mug with ice. Set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine 6 tbsp heavy cream, 2 sachets of Gardenia Chocolate Malt Drink, and 1 tbsp simple syrup.
  4. Whip until soft peaks form. 
  5. Spoon the chocolate cloud gently over matcha latte.
  6. Option to dust with a bit of matcha powder and Gardenia Chocolate Malt Drink powder for an aesthetic finish.
