
Lumpiang Shanghai Bread
Ingredients
- 1 pack Gardenia Enriched White Bread
- 500g Ground Beef
- ½ Carrots, grated
- ½ cup Onion, minced
- ½ cup Garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Kinchay
- 1 tbsp Flour
- 2 pcs Eggs
- 1 cup Cooking Oil
- Salt and Pepper to taste


Method
- To prepare the shanghai mix, combine ground beef, carrots, onion, garlic, kinchay, flour, eggs, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Set aside.
- Flatten each slice of Gardenia Enriched White Bread using a rolling pin or a round bottle. Trim the edges.
- Spread shanghai mix on top of the bread and roll. Secure with a toothpick.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry the lumpia, turning as needed until all sides are golden brown.
- Place on a strainer to drain excess oil and remove toothpicks.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
