Lumpiang Shanghai Bread

Ingredients
  1. 1 pack Gardenia Enriched White Bread
  2. 500g Ground Beef
  3. ½ Carrots, grated
  4. ½ cup Onion, minced
  5. ½ cup Garlic, minced
  6. 1 tbsp Kinchay
  7. 1 tbsp Flour
  8. 2 pcs Eggs
  9. 1 cup Cooking Oil
  10. Salt and Pepper to taste

Method

  1. To prepare the shanghai mix, combine ground beef, carrots, onion, garlic, kinchay, flour, eggs, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Set aside.
  2. Flatten each slice of Gardenia Enriched White Bread using a rolling pin or a round bottle. Trim the edges.
  3. Spread shanghai mix on top of the bread and roll. Secure with a toothpick.
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the lumpia, turning as needed until all sides are golden brown.
  6. Place on a strainer to drain excess oil and remove toothpicks.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy.
