
Maja Pan Blanca
Ingredients
- 5 slices Gardenia Enriched White Bread
- ¼ cup Evaporated Milk
- ½ cup Condensed Milk
- 1 cup Coconut Milk
- 1/8 cup Cheddar Cheese, grated
- ½ cup Canned Corn Kernel


Method
- Toast Gardenia Enriched White Bread for 2 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Using a food processor or blender, blitz the toasted bread until fine. This will serve as cornstarch.
- Mix coconut milk, evaporated milk, condensed milk and the bread in a bowl. Stir until all the ingredients are well-combined.
- Pour the mixture into a pan and let simmer for 8 minutes. Then, add the corn kernel and cheddar cheese. Keep stirring until the mixture thickens.
- Pour the mixture in a baking tray. Flatten the top using a turner or spatula.
- Allow to cool then refrigerate for at least an hour or until it has set.
- Garnish with more grated cheese on top.
- Serve chilled.
