Seafood Balls

Ingredients
  1. 3 slices Gardenia Enriched White Bread
  2. 6 pcs Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  3. 100g Cream Dory
  4. 1 pc Crab Stick
  5. 3 cloves Garlic
  6. 1/4 cup Shitake Mushroom, minced
  7. 1/2 tbsp Onion Powder
  8. 1/2 tbsp Chicken Powder or Bouillon
  9. 1 tbsp Flour
  10. Cooking Oil for deep frying
  11. 2 tbsp Sweet Chili Sauce
  12. 1 tbsp Mayonnaise

Method

  1. Preheat enough oil in a small pot for deep frying.
  2. Slice Gardenia Enriched White Bread into small cubes and set aside.
  3. In a food processor or mixer, combine shrimp, fish, garlic, shitake mushroom, onion powder, chicken powder, and flour. Blitz everything together until it forms a paste.
  4. Using an ice cream scooper, scoop the mixture into a ball and wrap in sliced bread, making sure the whole surface of the seafood ball is covered in bread.
  5. Deep fry the seafood balls until golden brown and crispy.
  6. To make the dipping sauce, mix the sweet chili sauce and mayonnaise together in a ramekin.
  7. Serve the seafood balls hot with the dipping sauce.
