
Tuna Pesto Bread Pasta
Ingredients
- 10 slices Gardenia Fine Grain Wholemeal Bread
- 1½ cup fresh basil
- 2 tbsp cashew nuts, crushed
- 2 pcs garlic cloves
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 can of tuna, drained


Method
- To make the pesto sauce, blitz garlic and nuts together in a blender. Add fresh basil, parmesan cheese, and olive oil. Adjust seasoning with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Blend well.
- Flatten the Gardenia Fine Grain Wholemeal Bread using a rolling pin. Slice into thin strips with a knife.
- To assemble, mix pesto sauce with bread strips. Top with tuna.
- Serve and enjoy.
