Tuna Pesto Bread Pasta

Ingredients
  1. 10 slices Gardenia Fine Grain Wholemeal Bread
  2. 1½ cup fresh basil
  3. 2 tbsp cashew nuts, crushed
  4. 2 pcs garlic cloves
  5. 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
  6. 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp olive oil
  7. Salt and pepper to taste
  8. 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  9. 1 can of tuna, drained

Method

  1. To make the pesto sauce, blitz garlic and nuts together in a blender. Add fresh basil, parmesan cheese, and olive oil. Adjust seasoning with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Blend well.
  2. Flatten the Gardenia Fine Grain Wholemeal Bread using a rolling pin. Slice into thin strips with a knife.
  3. To assemble, mix pesto sauce with bread strips. Top with tuna.
  4. Serve and enjoy.
